Hi Kay,

I don't remember seeing it on any of the edible lists, I have one and am sure that I would have offered it to the little guys if I had.

Hi Kay

I have had a look on the Tortoisetable website and it says that Spirea is safe to feed. But please check out the photo on their site to make sure that your bush looks the same as theirs.

I will post a picture of the bush in my garden, tomorrow when I have taken the photo, because after looking on the site, I believe I have spirea bushes sprouting up all over the place. And we can compare pictures if you post a picture of yours.

I was going to dig them out. But now I don't think I need too. Thank goodness.

Thanks Gail, I also done a search after I found the web site now on the Favorites menu. I have looked and it appears all the spirea is edible as part of a varied diet. Which is great another Shrub for the enclosure, opps sorry garden.
