Hello

Please could you let me know if these plants are non-toxic for Hermann Tortoises. The intention is to plant them in the hollow blocks which form the enclosure.

  1. Helianthemum (known as rock rose)
  2. Sedum Kamtschaticum (known as stonecrop)
  3. Sedum Spurium (known as stonecrop)
  4. Dianthus Deltoides (known as Maiden Pinks)
  5. Gypsophila Prostrata
  6. Cerastium (known as Snow in Summer)
  7. Dwarf Asters

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks very much

Sabina

Hi, Sabina,

Most of these plants are edible to tortoises, you can check them out on the Tortoise Table website:

Here's the reference to your first plant:

Hope this helps,
