letting 2 species walk round together

does aany 1 here have 2 diffrent species tortoise and let them roam round as i have a herman and a horsfield and they get on fin follow 1 another eat together even sleep together but they have seperate tanks just wonderd if any 1 else has 2 diffrent?????:-)

you should never keep two or more different types of species together!

it could cause diseases as they have their own special diseases inside them and they are immune to them. if you mix the disease (mix the tortoises type) you could have fatal consequesnces

Andrew is 100% right, if these torts do not meet in the wild, they should not meet in captivity. As Andrew has said both carry their own diseases, or pathogens which can be very harmful to the other.

i had this checked out as i said in other forun and they live however long together and they do get on if had disease wunnt go neqar each other u all read wrong books ltek too much notice
