I am needing to increase the heating in Tort Lodge to encourage a bit more activity now the temperatures are much cooler. I really want to keep my creep from resting for a few more weeks. What temps does everyone else have?
I have a halogen lamp in Tort Lodge Gardens which provides heat once they are outside, they seem to come and go to get warmth from that, but of course I have to get them outside first!!
At the moment the heater is set at 16 degrees from 6am-6pm but as today has been 16.5 degrees it hasn't been on.
I am thinking it would be better to increase the heat for a few hours in the mornings to give them a 'Boost' x x x hugs x x

I'm still just using normal ambient temps and offering a basking spot from 9am to 4pm, which they can choose to use if need be.

I think mine are a bit 'soft'. The older ones have been out, but then they have always lived in a garden with no extra heating. X x x hugs x x
