Does anyone know of somewhere online selling Opuntia Cactus suitable for tortoises? I tried last year but couldn't get any and I've forgotten the sites and the particular opuntia, whenever I see a tortoise owner on tv they're feeding their tortoises cactus pads but I can never seem to get hold of them. anyway if anyone could tell me that'd be great, thanks

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 10-05-07 AT 03:13 PM (GMT)]Hi,

Ivyboo's sites are good, but in the States. I don't know where you are, but if you are in the UK, I find you can get opuntia at most good garden centres, but you can also try this site - they usually have some. Opuntia ficus indica is the most common type for torts, but any opuntia will do (and the fewer spines the better) - don't forget to de-spine it before giving it to your tort. http://www.easycactus.co.uk/site/
