Look at the size of these beauts,if only i was a millionaire!!
The large 1 at the back of the first pic weighs 28st!!

Haha yes im sure they would,would need a field just for them alone lol :).wouldnt like to have to pay the food bill lol

Ha yes,the kids would love it im sure but geting a tortoise that size to go where you want it too would be a task lol.would love 1 tho when i win the loto lol :)

I saw these big guys at Bristol zoo too! They are beautiful. Have they still got the ones borrowed from elsewhere as part of their breeding programme?

Umm im not quite sure on that one but i know there was at least 6 there!neva been to bristol zoo before but will be making another visit in the summer to seem them in all there glory outside in the sunshine :)

Well if anyone fancied a tortybud meet there next year I'd be up for it. :D
There is an animal rescue centre no too far from the zoo about 30ish miles, they hold a tortoise and hedgehog weekend each year, you could combine the two and be completely tortoised up!

Sounds like a brilliant plan. We could make it a My Hermanns Tortoise members day out and have some of us all meet up. :D
