Hi, Sue's better with weeds than me but the 2nd picture looks like it's prickly sow thistle. :)

Yes, sowthistle for second one. Need flowers to be sure of the others really. Third one looks less edible though if that makes sense.

Thank you ladies, I thought the middle one might be prickly sow thistle but wasn't sure, the first one there is lots of in the garden and in the alley behind my house, so if it is edible that would be another nice addition to his diet, I agree about the third one, I have a feeling it's not a good one for torts but just not sure what it actually is.

First one looks like Italian dandelion, but not sure why you have so much of it, depending on where you live of course lol it certainly looks like a member of the taraxus group, but wait until it flowers to be sure, then save some seeds lol.

Thanks, not heard of that one until now, I live in Kent, not sure why we have it either, I've never noticed it before, but then again I never took such an interest in weeds before :)

There are several different varieties of dandelion leaves. One similar one is chicory, so if you've seen blue flowered weeds around it may well be this, but best to wait for flowers to be sure ;)
