Just a New Year reminder for all you owners who are not hibernating their torts for whatever reason. Remember that while indoors and not outside, the humidity levels in centrally heated houses will be drastically lower and so will need to be supplemented constantly by watering, making sure tinies dont sleep under lamps, have humid hides for overnight etc Remember too that they need constant access to water so that they can choose when to soak. I do emphasise the dangers of dehydration particularly in youngsters in my care sheets, but not all owners are aware. Good to know in order to avoid veterinary treatment.
