Hi Sarah,

How's the little guy doing? Does he have a chance of ever seeing or is has he lost the site in both eye's?

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 05-02-06 AT 10:45 AM (GMT)]Hello i didnt go to the vets as he is getting on really well, Sorry mike didnt see your message above, well I took patch to Darrens and on one side it looks like a socket with no eye where as the other was a huge lump. Darren managed to gently pull the socket apart and we could see a tiny eye. Three days ago i noticed that patches belly went concave but Darren reassured me that this happens when baby tortoises have used up there egg yoke reserve. Well yesterday his belly has gone back to normal and this bubble on his eye has more or less gone. He has gained 2g and is a little nutter.

poor little chap, i sure he will do fine, having never been able to see he won't think he missing anything.

sad though is'nt it, sounds like he's got bags of character.

oh he is so lovly he is very lucky in the respect he has some 1 like u sarah to look after him and even tho he cant see im sure he will live a very happy long life with u and the rest of ur torts... keep up the gd work hun ur a star and all the best to u and patch ....
