I got Harry up from hibernation on Saturday as his nineteen weeks were up.

Here he is having his post-hibernation shower:

After a couple of hours under his lamp, he decided he wanted to go walking:

A wander around his enclosure and an inspection of his house followed:

He's not quite as active as he normally is due to the weather, but hopefully he'll take his big drink in the next day or so.

Another successful hibernation; let's hope for a good summer for all our torts!

Love how he checked his house out Graham. Mine are not showing any inclination to appear yet. The one that emerged in the garden has gone back to sleep in the greenhouse

I have 3 come up today. Predictably the greenhouse ones, not the ones in garage hibernaculum, just proving how nature is best. Clever little monsters :)Attached File  8C824DC3-4081-4C45-AB67-482845813225.jpeg   94.56KB   0 downloadsAttached File  A18A008E-AAF7-4B54-9918-34027C340E02.jpeg   91.69KB   0 downloads

Just to let you know, Harry had his big drink today, so I can relax again. It was glorious weather so he spent the entire day basking in the sun. A good start to the season!  :)

Yes the weather has been brilliant here today too. I think we can see an end to the horrible winter at last :)

I’m hoping there are more today as it’s still warm (ish) and sunny :)
