Here's a great article on what to feed your tortoise. You have to scroll down to get to the mediterranean tortoises.

Have you taken the one with the shell rot to see a vet? If you haven't it would be a good idea for a vet to see your tortoise.
Here's a list of vets in the UK that treat reptiles

If you have anymore questions by all means ask. All most all of us are here to help.

Hi Tortoise Lover!
I too found this forum excellent when I had a bit of a panic! My tortoise had a shell infection and when I asked if I should apply betadine, he said I could but it didn't stay on the area very long. I was given "flamazine" which is a very thick cream and really sticks. It only cost a couple of pounds from the vet. I'm sure the betadine will be fine but if there is no improvement maybe you could see your vet about something like flamazine. All the best!

sorry the former message should say "when I asked my vet, he said betadine didn't stay on the area very long"

Hello

Also keep in mind when you decorate their enclosure that there should be a couple of hiding places. Make these as dark and private as you can. I have two torts myself (Hermanns) and they were digging trying to get out. Now I have created a landscape they can use in two ways: I've basically done it in a way that allows them to crawl over and onto anything they want. That way it's a real challenge for them.

Love
Nina
