[updated:LAST EDITED ON 08-04-06 AT 07:30 PM (GMT)]We went to the vets and he gave me some liquid calcium, i have to give her 1ml a day. She hasnt ate much but has tried to eat. She cannot walk very well. Only time will tell.

Wow, how big is your garden Sarah ? It must be huge to have all those different species.
Unfortunately the damage to this particular tort is irreversable, had greatly affected its internal organs and the outlook is not good, too much abuse, bad diet, housing and possibly lack of adequate UVB too.

I have a medium garden, but i am planning to move soon. I do have a large collection of tortoises, but most are only babies. I know the outlook does not look good but i will do the best i can for her.

Hi, just wondering the pic of this tort....................is a horsefields supposed to have a shell similar only more lumpy??? the pet shop near me has some who have very lumpy shells. thanks love rach xx

Awww didnt mean to make you cry, just want people to be aware that this will happen to your tortoise if you don't keep them and feed them right.

No horsfields are supose to have a flat shell like this.
