My 6 year old torts have been starved now for two weeks. Is two weeks sufficient or should we do 3? What is the best substrait for fridge hibernation? We have a cocoa husk and sand mix also hemp?

Yes stick to 3 at least. I normally use shredded paper for fridge hibernation as I find its easier to tell if the tortoise has had a wee... Not sure about the cocoa husk, some people use sand/soil mix or hemp, decisions!!
Have you checked their weight on the jacksons ratio?

It's really mild here today and I've put them out for a bit, they seem really happy to get some fresh air....6 days to go until fridge time.......
