my little tort is 10 months old, and i have just noticed he has some funny looking sqiggles on his under side they are white and look like little worms. they go down most of his lenght, at the middle and are on the edge of his shell on the outside as well.
could they be worms??
any help would be great.

not quite sure what you mean by squiggles? are they moving around? would it be possible for you to post a pic at all?

Can you post a picture? It sounds like keratin stress marks to me (my tort had them, so I think I know what you mean by little squiggles). They are perfectly normal and appear on torts in the wild, but will eventually fade. It could not be worms (they live in the stomach and intestines).
