I very rarely give you all the chance to meet my torts as I never seem to get time to take pics. I took a couple today and paticularly like this one of Bonnie my old female ibera having a quick snack. Hope you like her as much as I do!

Thanks Jade.
Her exact age is unknown. She was WC in 1969 and was estimated to be between 30 and 40 then, so she is probably approaching 70 or 80 now.

I have 3 the same - 2 boys and one girl. I rehomed them in january this year. the poor girl was hounded all her life by 3 boys one even being a north african spur and the other 2 ibera. they now have free run of the garden and im lucky that they have a bash once a month if that. they r gorgeous at that age in a different way to the smaller ones :D

Thanks everyone :7
Jade, I know just what you mean. The older ones are special in their own way.

Bonnie is so lovely, Peter! I always think it is an honour to be able to look after an older tortoise. Peter - when I'm 70 will you look after me (I'd like my own enclosure, but I do like a bit of socialising too) ?
