Hi
i am about to set up my greenhouse for torts. could someone please tell me which uv light strip to use? and should it be on for 12 hours a day and which spotbulb? is the spotbulb on for 6 hours a day?

Your greenhouse should have unlimited access to outdoors so that the tortoise can get uvb from the sun, which is far superior to any tube. Hope this helps. Heat lamps only are needed in greenhouse setups. Also please remember that a tortoises should never be kept in a greenhouse with no means of escape :-( I know it sounds obvious but some have tried it!

sorry should have said-greenhouse leads onto outside run. does anyone know of where i can get a flap for the tort to walk through?

My friend uses a cat flap and her tortoise is small and strong. They do a dog flap in argos if you got a big tortoise.
