Hi everyone,
Would anyone be able to tell me if it is alright to just allow my torts to "feed" themselves. What I mean is they are in a safe enclosure with lots of their food growing naturally, plenty of weeds and safe edible plants for them, so do I just let them choose what they want to eat? Also what about calcium and vitamins, how do I supply that? They do have cuttlefish which they very often eat on their own.
I know everyone probably has different thoughts but I would be really grateful for some advice

Thanks Shellx

This is actually the best way to feed them. They have to search for the weeds and use their front legs ot hold them down while they tear at them - all very natural. If you get a pepper pot or a turkey baster you can put the nutrobal in this and simply puff it onto the weeds where they feed. Hope this helps

Yeah I was wondering the same thing. So the key would be to space out the weeds and have a large space then?
