Not that far hun, Burntwood, other side of Brownhills from you,

Was just wondering, because had terrible trouble finding vets recently, ended up in solihull, only one i could find that specialised in torts.

Are there any around your area.

Managed to solve the problem, only had them since january and one very small compared to the others, and wasn't eating.

Turned out to be worms, but set me on a mission to find closer vets. all around here don't seem to know as much as they should.

Hopefully never need one again but as you can imagine, hour drive away, two hour round trip even without the time spent in the vets.

Although a have to say this forum great, they told me what the problem was before i went, and now am addicted to this forum aswell as torts.

I'm glad you got your tort sorted. I don't know when you had her wormed, but the worse things' a week or two later when all the worms are expelled!!. It's gross, depending how infested they were. You do need to change the bedding as well.

That's exactly what i did, came here for advice, and guess what they were all right, not that i doubted them.
I'm just amazed that there are no local vets with enough knowledge, have found this forum amazing, so much knowledge, more importantly personal experience. if i manage to find one local to both of us, i will let you know. like i said before only one i could find, was a south african vet in solihull. but have all my animal loving friends on the look out at their vets.
