2 Days ago a bought a plastic tortoise to put in my herman's tortoise's enclosure. However, for hours Squirtle has been sniffing it and stroking her necks against it. She has also bitten it. Do I leave it or shall I remove it?
Thanks for any help
Rich

I would take it out Rich. Torts have strong beaks and claws and she might bite a piece off, she could either choke on it, it could cause impaction if swallowed, or it might contain toxic paint.
Hope this helps

Thanks for the reply Jo
The plastic is really hard, it's like a plastic rock if that makes any sense :P
She (well, i though she was a 'she' until my mum spotted something and told me it wasn't - it was doing something with the plastic tort when she told me...
My tort has been biting it more often but my tort seems to like it.

It should be okay as long as you dont think any bits might break off, she might get a lot of 'attention' too if you know what I mean }>
