Special thanks to Joanne666 & Calamity Jane for your advise & encouragement.

my tortoise CUTTERS was found 2 streets away in our village (150yds from home) yesterday afternoon.
Incedentally it was in the garden next door to another tortoise owner who's lost tortoise i found in our garden about 5 yrs ago, starting me off in this crazy tortoise world.

cutters had been gone 8 or 9 days & the lady who found him saw my poster in the village shop. I also had them on every lampost in two streets.

So if you've lost your tort DON'T GIVE UP HOPE

regards from a very happy chappy, grahame

i think i will buy a lottery ticket or two today.;-)

Wow thats brilliant !!!!! Im so pleased for you :-)
Tortoises are great escape artists and climbers, you would be amazed how high a tortoise can climb. A friend of mine has a picture of one walking along the top of 6ft high rog roll surrounding his enclosure that he had managed to climb !! Never underestimate the little blighters lol, secure enclosures are vital and never put anything in the corners of your enclosures, they will just use them as ladders

I bet you cant wipe the grin off your face.

Best wishes
