Salcuta, beautiful...... thank christ I only have a small garden as I would love a brood of these!!!!!! Where did you see him?

their was two of them.it was in some sort of fun farm.it had a reptile park play area that sort of thing.in ayrshire.wouldnt fancy lifting them thats for sure!!!!

these bad boys are at paignton zoo, devon. weigh up to 150 kilos! lol!

Ooooh they are all lovely, I only have experience of Hermanns, I thought I'd try and find out what I could about them before confusing myself with the other breeds... doesn't take much wacko.gif
150 Kilos? Each? Have they any more growing to do?
I lurrrve their stumpy, sturdy legs!!

i think they had them as babies back in the eighties. Custom's passed them to the zoo when someone tried to smuggle them into the country. That makes them mid 30's. Not sure they will grow much more. biggrin.gif
Can you imagine them in your back garden. lol!

lol WOW they are HUGE my baby hermanns are like little ants compared to them..lol..
