should i take the others out the table.their is male and an other female in with her?she has been doing this since last nite.her tail is flicking back and forth the hole time

Oo-er, sounds like she's about to lay!!!! Keep your camera handy!!!!

Not sure about the others, if they are leaving her alone I'd leave them be for now, you don't want to keep disturbing her. If however they are hassling her then yes, if you have somewhere else to put them then move them for now.

I'm assuming you know what to do once she lays the eggs?

It might be an idea to PM Terry (Terrypin) to ask advice as he is an old pro at this subject!!!! laugh.gif

she has been digging al day now.i have tried to stay away from her to give her peace now she is sleeping on top of the place she was digging!!!!so i dont know if she has layed or not!!

Are you able to poke your hand under her? Or maybe just slightly move her? Did you PM Terry? Another one to try is Darran (Bossman!) he breeds as well... otherwise you can leave well alone and see what happens tomorrow........

yes i pm,d terry he thinks she mite be ready to lay.i mite leave it to the morn.shes had a long day.i will keep the temp up tonite just incase

i have incubator at the ready.my boss breeds parotts so i have a shot of that.just incase fingers crossed!!!

shes fine i think she has only layed two.will she make an other nest?or is that it they are a lot bigger than the first batch.hope that is a good sign

wow thats great news.she should lay them all in one go so unless she becomes gravid again in which case it could all start again in 3 or 4 weeks time i think you can relax.i would have a good feel around the nest just to be sure there is only two she may not have packed them in well.it is getting very late in the season for eggs so i think its all over for this year.good luck with the incubation.

hi ,wow thats a nice looking incubator.im sure so long as you ensure she is well hydrated the fact she layed shouldnt make any difference to her general health.have you started wind down yet .
