I have had a data logger in my fridge for the last few weeks, 3 days ago I added a bowl of water to see if it would increase the humidity inside.
Thought I would share the results..... almost no change. There was a rise of less than 1 percent.

Paula has scientifically found what seemed to happen when I tried this bowl of water trick. Although in my case it just looked like the amount of water in the bowl was the same after a couple of weeks so I gave up.

Paula do you think it would do any good to use one of those gadgets that bubbles air through water in a bottle? It might not be too difficult to do this with the air pump on the outside of the fridge and the bottle as well. The plastic tube exiting from the bottle could go round the door seal and onto the fridge. I might try this in the future- can you ask your hubby if this could work given the cold air inside the fridge?
