He said they had been there a long time and customers didn't seem to want them. I said perhaps the customers were more sensible than their livestock purchasers and maybe they should cut their losses and find a specialist home for them. I also said they should review their advice to tortoise customers as their advice on diet needed reviewing. I usually see Horsefields in there.
I think when we first started talking he was hoping he could offload them onto an unsuspecting customer. By the end of the conversation he probably wished he'd stayed in bed that morning. (Graham, behind me, certainly wished he had)
