Hi All

I'm hoping someone can give me some advise please.
I'm 4 days into a 3 week wind down for my tortoise.
However yesterday Bertie was really active and stomping around his table.
Should I abandon the wind down and see if he starts eating again ?
He's been off his food for the last couple of weeks and he was acting like this last Thursday, but wouldn't eat when offered food.
Is this just normal behaviour during the wind-down ? I haven't as yet reduced his heat and lighting levels, I was going to do this on Saturday.

Thanks
Robert

Hi Bruce, Thanks for the reply.
He does seem to have slowed down again these last 2 days.
Thanks
Robert

Hi Robert. Basically I agree with Bruce. The heat and light stimulates them and often its only when we reduce that quite a lot that they stop looking for food entirely and become less active. If you feel reasonably OK with your wind down, I'd say continue.

Best wishes, Oz
