hi
looking good ryan, i love the little house thingy, one of mine buries herself all the time and the other doesnt bother, it worried me to start with but was reassured it is normal

look forward to seeing pics of thetable when its done

I should imagine so. Can't see what harm it would do.
Feeding from slate is good if you got/can get some. Keeps their beak n claws nice n trim ;) x

also, he has never been hibernated due to being kept in the viv! will he need to be if he is to be moved into a table? :unsure: x

There is no link between needing to hibernate and living on the table. :D A completely seperate issue for us all to worry about!

try and have a look at other peoples posts and you will pick up alot of information about heat, tables, food, toys, hibernation etc.

Im fairly new myself and have picked up alot of info by reading other posts.

Hi Ryan

I think you misunderstood Paula's answer to your question about hibernation and living on a table. A tortoise can be hibernated if it has been kept in a vivarium or on a table. Their habitat doesn't make any difference.

Hibernation is a seperate issue altogether. There is a section on hibernation at the top of the page. And although it is beneficial for a tortoise to hibernate, it should really only be carried out, if you are confident that your tortoise is in good health.

aw ok, but he would be ok if he wasnt hibernated? he hasnt been in 3 years :unsure:
