skin peelin

Just notice while giving Mylo his bath that some skin on his neck is peeling, i read this is normal but usually happens in little pieces that you can't see. Just wanted to know anything about it happening to anyones torts.

P.S. I also read that it can happen if he's growing too fast.
He hasn't seemed to have grown much when we weighed him again.

My hatchlings do it all the time when they are small and growing. Its not as noticable when adults.
The neck is the tattiest place for this happening.
Never pull it off, as it can cause damage. The only time to worry is if its red or sore looking underneath.

hi ,i agree with Sandy.But if you still have concerns please post a picture and im sure we can confirm that its normal shedding.
