Hi guys,

Could do with some help. I have been contacted by one of our members who has eggs in an incubator and is currently facing a powercut. Other than to cover the incubator does anyone have any ideas on keeping the temperature inside up?

How long and to what temperature would it have to drop to be a problem for the eggs?

Any help or advice greatfully received.

Paula x

Try using some tin foil also to keep the heat in. ;)

If the power cut is only for a short time, it shouldnt make any difference to the eggs. Longer might be a problem. But it might just make the incubation longer.
