Hi

A few questions for those of you who have outdoor enclosures for your torties!

*Do you have to worry about woodlouse/worms etc in the soil? There are lots of crawly things in Shelby's outside area at the moment.

*Can a Hermann's eat normal grass? Shelby will pretty much try to eat anything you put in front of her that is a different colour to the soil!!

*Do you need to pull up anything that starts growing in the soil? Cos of all the rain we've had over the past few weeks there a little leaves that look like cress/tiny clover growing in the soil. I bet Shelby would just eat them all up if I let her but I have no idea what they are.

Many thanks

Jo

hi jo, there is a section that tells you what plants your tort can eat, just check whats growing against the plants in that section.i buy tort seeds from our local pet shop or you can get them off the net. i sow them in trays then trasplant them into the run. this way i always have fresh plants growing to replace as the torts eat or trampel them down. hope this helps.....tiggy
