Hi Everyone

I took pepsi & tango to the vets today.. I had to get pepsi checked and decided to take Tango along to show him the big size difference and Tango since she hatched has always had her neck bent to one side..

He thinks Pepsi may have pneumonia and Tango may have a deformed spine!!! He is going to give them both an xray and is starting treatment on Pepsi straight away.

He is keeping them both in over the weekend and I am to call him tomorrow to check on how it's going.. I have already called him to remind him that they havent had a bath today.. he must think I am mad because yet again I totally embarrased myself and burst out crying!!

I will let you know the results as soon as I hear.

Crying Jeanette is good... And I bet there will be a lot more sad forum watchers tonight. Poor Tango and Pepsi... Hope everything goes well over the weekend they are both in the best place to receive the specialist care they need at this time. X x hugs and tight squeezes x x x chin up!!!

Thankyou so much stellanne, soppy old thing I am.. I dont have children so all my maternal feelings are lavished on my 3 torts.. My husband and all my friends think I am a mental case, and he doesn't get any tea or anything until they all have their bath and dinner!! he he

It's so sad thinking of them all alone in the surgery overnight :( I wonder what they are kept in? I hope they have a little hut to sleep in.. bless them xx

Oh no!! :(

Jeanette they really are in the best place and especially Pepsi being in the safest of hands.
You must be devasted, nothing wrong with a few tears either, only shows how much you care!!
When I drove Hettie from Somerset to Andover I cried all the way home!
I wonder what he will say about Tango's spine, did he suggest there would be problems long term?

Will have everything crossed for them both Jeanette and will be looking out to hear how they get on.
Take Care x

Thanks for your support everyone.. I have called the vets but Mark the vet had been called away but the receptionist said they are together and both ok. They have both had an injection of a long lasting antibiotic but that's all she could tell me :( I have got to call them back tomorrow before 12pm to speak to mark so hopefully he will have some news for me.
Poor old Tango, she only went in with a crooked neck!! bless her..

I will update you all as soon as I hear anything

Thanks again for your interest

Jeanette xx

Sorry to hear Pepsi and Tango are poorly. Hope they are home with you soon.

I've got to take one of my rescues to the vets, he is very lethargic, one eye hardly opens, doesn't hold is head up high and isn't eating. I'm really worried about him. I know he has a heavy worm load and wondering whether its because of this.

Me & Mort are sending good vibes your way.:) Don't apologize for caring about your little guys. Just think of all the abused ones out there and how lucky all or ours are. You are doing a great job for them:)
