He's enjoying a diet of spring greens, peppers, grapes, strawberries, nastutiums, campunala and a few pellets. The weeds are growing as we speak lol. Spoiled tortoise :D

Campunala flowers are recommended food, as are the nasturtiums I see in the first picture, however I do believe none of the others are really recommended for Mediterranean torts, including pellets, fruit of any kind, peppers and plants from the cabbage family.

This might be helpful http://www.tortoiset...les/webdiet.htm as well as this: http://www.hermann-t...?showtopic=7409

There are so many weeds available at the moment.... Luscious dandilions, plantain, vetch and garden stuff like snap dragons and pansies... The best thing I ever did was buy some weed seeds.... The mix is great and they grow very quicky at the moment x x. Hugs x.

The thing is there is so much conflicting advice, there are lists available of ideal torty foods that include some of the things you are offering, but what the lists don't say is which species these foods are suitable for.
All fruits are a no-no for Hermanns torts.

Paula x
