Managed to get indoor rabbit cage complete with basking lamp and uv strip light for 10.43 of eBay and then it cost 13 to have to collected by courier.

All we need now is to get it cleaned up and setup and get our tortoise.

Whats best household product to use for cleaning it or am I best getting the proper reptile stuff.

Great stuff Simon, I would get some proper reptile disinfectant from the pet shop, you know that will be safe to use

That's great Simon, you'll have plenty of time to find where the best places are for weed picking before the new arrival arrives. :D

I've already bought some seeds off eBay. Not sure when to start growing them tho as don't know how long they take.

Hi,

Yeah it's end of July beginning of August hopefully.

I've planted about half the seeds in a tray this afternoon will plant the rest in couple weeks time.

Cage has been cleaned out with soapy water, need to get some f10 disinfectant which I'll get next weekend.

The lights that came with it all work but think I'm gonna replace the uv light as not sure how old bulb is.
