Hi everyone

We have done Harry's table but as it is a open top I don't want him to be to cold. Steve has seen a bulb which gives out heat but no light and has said we can have that on as it is much cooler in our bedroom which is where his table is.
Steve has ordered one on line which is a 75 watt bulb is this O.K or not.
At the moment it is at about 24c is this good and what is the lowest it can go before anything bad can happen etc.

Steve will upload pics of table soon would be great to get your views and it is a lot better than that viv.

Thanks again
Mel, Steve and Harry x x

Hi Mel, Steve and Harry,
A 75 watt bulb should be fine. Also, 24C is probably a little warm for night-time temps. Torts can usually cope with temps much lower than that, especially at night. Once the temp does not drop below 10 degrees your tortoise should be OK. Hope this helps.Take care ;)
Kind Regards
Freddy :)
