hi all well its day 57 for my 1st eggs two are fully out the 3rd one on its way will post some pics soon :thumbup:

thanks we had a few problems with the 3rd egg hatching the baby was upside down in the egg trying to hatch most of the day,when i got in from work and seen what was happening i turned the egg over, the baby hatched but had half the egg stuck to the shell ive give the baby a bath to get the shell off there all back in the incubator till tomorrow Posted Image Posted Image

Ah Congratulations Karen! They look lovely. Glad to hear baby no 3 is doing well.
Can I ask what coin they are pictured next to - cant quite tell what it is and my 7 year old son wants to know how big baby tortoises are when they are born. - thanks!

hi its a 1 pound coin 2 babies weighed 8g and 1 baby weighed 9g :)

Hi Karen, no they haven't :(
I checked the eggs this morning before work and one had exploded! Oh the smell!! I am not holding my breath...
But I shall wait a while longer... just in case.

morning paula ive heard they smell really bad when they explode :( thats why i put them in the bin if there not fertile
keep incubating the others i was just reading a lady had a clutch of 3 eggs they hatched day 60,63 and 73 so yours still have time :)
the one with the air bubble on when you candle it what does it look like now? the day before mine hatched when i candled them it looked like the air bubble had gone and the egg was full inside so you car,nt really see any thing best of luck with them :)
