Look at this lovely Sulcata tortoise that I saw on my short break on the East Coast this week. :wub:

We went off and found him a few dandies, plantain, clover and thistle to feed him. ;)

Note how he has spotted the thistle just outside his enclosure! :rofl: We helped him to reach it and picked him some. :)

There were loads of others there, which I suspect used to be pets.... but due to their size got donated...... They look a bit more lumpy than the old boy we were feeding.

It was actually a parrot zoo. It was lovely. They had a huge aviary that you could walk though and all the parrots came and landed on your shoulder to be petted and fed peanuts!

They had a lovely meerkat enclosure too with loads of tiny babies. :wub:

...... and we got told off for holding hands with the ring tailed lemurs! :rofl:

It sure looks a great place to visit, especially for an animal lover like yourself. We have place near us with meercats, they are adorable. :)

lovely photo's,i love the close up photo's,the parrot seems to be enjoying the fuss,awww they are so lovely, thanks for sharing.
