Hi all i'm planning tillys outdoor enclosure, she will go out in day but owing to foxes near us i'm intending on bringing her in at night, does it need heat outside? There'l be a wooden hide with soil bottom and also a perspex hide with a stone bottom ( mini green house) to get warm in, i'v been told this could be upto 10deg higher than rest of enclosure, tillys a horsefield so more tollerent of temp fluctuation i'v been told rightly or wrongly? X
Thanks sarah x

Hello Sarah

sounds like it should be okay  with out heat for the day time if you are just using enclosure for the summer  during the day time,my horsfields are out in a breeze block house with lights and a tubular heater which works very well here in walsall, they are locked in there house for the night.
