Did they settle straight in Heidi? They look happy enough and alert.

I'm getting the big ones out of hibernation tomorrow, so big day ahead :)

Yes, they've been having a really good explore, and have been really active and alert.
I'm really pleased, I thought they might be a bit unsettled but they've been brilliant! They're characters are starting to come out too, I think I've got a couple of cheeky monkeys :) I absolutely love them.
Good luck getting the big ones out tomorrow! :)

That's brilliant. They have been well socialised so usually settle quickly. Hopefully the weather will change soon too for you. Great way of wasting time though isn't it :)
Even though I have been hibernating tortoises for over thirty years, I am still dreading getting them up - heaven knows why ;)

Really well Sue.  Other than one being twice the size of the other one - but live in the same conditions!?!

I have kept the smaller one (Fifi) awake all winter and woke Marley up about 3 weeks ago as he went down in November.  Going back into the garden this weekend (fingers crossed)

Hope you and yours are all okay. x

Yes, all Ok here Pat. Funny how sometimes they grow differently. I still have the first two torts I ever bred and one is still bigger than the other. Millie became adult and started to lay eggs, years ago but Lily still hasn't laid. Not sure when mine will be out full time yet ;)

Just wanted to share this picture with you all as I think it's a great one of Tilly lazing on the top of her log hide!
