Could Someone Id Sub-Species And Sex Please?

Would it be possible for someone to ID the subspecies and possibly the sex please? He/she has Slovenia as country of origin and hatch date of 2010 on her CITES - if that helps.

I'm going with a Testudo Hermanni Boettgeri. 


Too young to sex accurately at the moment, but judging by the accessory scutes... I'd guess this little'un was incubated at high temperatures to be female. That doesn't necessarily mean that it will be though. ;)


You may have to wait a couple of years to be 100% certain. :)

I agree, Testudo hermanni boettgeri and I will go with female.
