Noticed a couple of times that Martin keeps trying to bite his leg, not actually biting it but like nibbling it like he has an itch? This might be a stupid and pointless post but can they get itches? Anyone else seen behaviour like this?

Hmm I hope not, I'll keep an eye on him and see if he keeps doing it. Only really tries to bite it for a second then stops. So strange.

My sister is a vet nurse and there's a reptile expert at her practice so will speak to her if the problem persists. Thanks

It can be a sign of pain, but as Ozric says, you really need a reptile specialist to diagnose the problem. If he is otherwise behaving fine, I would give it a few days before asking for a diagnosis.

Thanks, not done it today so will keep an eye out. Going to get him to the vets for a wee checkup, make sure everything's fine since we've just got him!
