Here he his having a last bask and dry off before bed !

Thanks Karen, since then I've pulled alot of the grass out and put some topsoil/sand In to make it look a bit more like his natural habitat :)

He's called splat because when I got him if you put him down he just lay there as if he was a splattered egg if you get me :)

Mark... Splat is gorgeous !!!! I know what you mean about when you put him down .... If i put Boy Pebble down he just splays his legs out and stays like that for ages.....
His enclosure is going to look great.... A lovely large area...... I hope you are going to keep it 'rugged tort friendly' rather than a 'pretty garden' area..... X x z hugs x x

What a lovely shell he has. Whats the secret. ? My buttercups a bit lumpy .I think she grew too quickly as a youngster :ohmy:

yeah this is the position i put him down in for about 5 mins before any movement whatsoever..

silly tortoise :D

 

cant wait to get the other half of his pen sorted cant think of what to do though :S fancy making it alot more different to this end so he has different terrain to explore. This end will be staying rugged too ;)
