Noticed little Martin has a dry bit of skin on the end of his nose. It's like a little flap. He gets bathed ever 2 days or so and has a water bowl for drinking etc but rarely goes in it. I've attached a couple of pictures. Think a trip to the vet is in order?

Thanks.

Hi,

I am no expert myself but I understand tortoises do shed skin from time to time. As long as the new growth underneath appears healthy then I wouldn't worry. It should drop off itself in time but do not attempt to remove it yourself. Both mine have had the same and has dropped off naturally.

Thanks guys, not long after posting this I was having another look and it had flaked off. Skin underneath looks perfectly healthy so should be fine!
