............. Oh dear. It has been all systems go on the PANIC front here in Sheffield. Georgina ( who I was beginning to think was a boy because her plastron is really strange, but then she had been in a viv for a number of years), is clearly a girl as she laid an egg on Sunday!!!! Her first!
Incubator, up and running and looking good... Egg in...
The same day I was excavating a mound of soil to make a hide when I came across six eggs which I think Chloe had laid three weeks ago when she was being a bit manic in the sun!!!! Eggs in.....
Incubator fine.... Then two days later the temp had dropped. To cut a very long story short we have had to order a new incubator...... But in the meantime Girl Bubble laid an egg....
At the moment they are in the defective incubator at 25-27 degrees..... New incubator is due to arrive Monday... Or hopefully tomorrow.
What are the eggs chances of developing..,
Does anyone have any comments? X x hugs x

Congrats on the eggs. I would have left them in a cool place until you could setup a new incubator as they don't start to incubate until temps rise. You might be lucky though so I would keep them cooking ;)

That's great news, Stella. Best of luck with the eggs.

Do I calculate the potential hatching date from the time the eggs were put in the incubator, or from the time I suspect they were laid x c x hugs x x

The time they went in the incubator, depending on temps beforehand ;)
