Hi Im a little concerned as Daisy is near the end of her wind down and has only pooped once, I am making sure she is having at least 20 min soaks each day, she never ate much before wind down.

Hi pam,
How long have you done the wind down for as i would be looking at 3 weeks for a tort this size?have you been keeping the temps moderate through the wind down as they need heat to keep them turning over to clear the gutt?
Regards matt

Hi Matt,

it was 2 weeks on tuesday so this is her 3rd week, I have only now last couple of days knocked lights and heat off, and lowered room temp.

Well to be honest pam theres should be no problem as this would have been plenty of time to clear the gut.my adults only pooed 2-3 times through wind down so i would say her gutt would be clear at the end of wind down.best of luck with hibernation :)
