Hi, I visited my local garden center today to get some top soil and all they had was this:  http://thegreenergar...ts/topsoil.html

Just wanted to check before I brought some that this is okay to use as a substrate. They had the full range of vital earth products and was also wondering if there was anything more suitable to use?

Thanks

Hi There,

These products aren't really suitable to use as they contain chemicals and other additives which can be harmful to torts. Best just to use plain old topsoil from B&Q or elsewhere. Hope this helps.Take care.

Kind Regards

Freddy

I totally agree with Freddy, good old plain sterilized topsoil from Wickes or B&Q would be much more suitable.
