Hey guys, so I took Littlefoot to the vet, and He told me that Littlefoot was pretty healthy and that I shouldnt worry at all.

Ive posted a while back about Littlefoot having a Flaky shell. But havent had pictures to show it. Well, I finally do!Attached File  1798352_502783836493830_1770185744_n.jpg   79.73KB   3 downloads

Another thing is that he has a darker pigment around the black patches that is like a redish brown. as I hope you can see in the pictures Again, the doctor said not to worry.

I also just wanted to show my wonderful little guy and the amazing picture I got of him. If anyone can tell me about the flakes, or the discoloration. Id love to know.

He looks perfectly normal to me. The discolouration that you mention is new growth, which will change colour and darken oven time.

Apart from a fair bit of fast growth he looks normal to me too, if he lived outdoors you would not see all that different colour, it's because he has been kept indoors and is not weathering like a wild one ;)

What flaky shell, I can't see it :(  Where is it, on the edge of shell, centre of scutes, somewhere else?

If the shell is flaking, as in pieces actually lifting then it needs to be double checked by the vet for shell rot, but Littlefoot is a wild tortoise and so will have had some damage and this is a prime place for damage following attempted mating or dominance.
