I have had my 4 year old out in the garden this wet weekend and he has appeared to love it, he has been marching round in the rain, stretching his legs and head out for maximum coverage, is this normal?????

when I bring him in in the evening he sits under his lamp for a bit to dry off then burrows and sleeps til morning, he seems happy but I  just want to check the rain wont hurt him

thanks Jayne

Rain is essential - in the wild the love a good downpour and use it to replenish supplies, putting their heads down to let it run off and drink.

Jayne, my torts are out in all sorts of weather, rain they love.......especially this time of year. The cold October rain can be very different. When I water Tort Lodge Gardens they very often come out to 'help' me and love being wet!! X x x hugs x x x
