Hello,

I was wondering roughly when torts start waking up. Mine still seem firmly asleep but there is visible shallow breathing. Do i need to wake them up? They have been outside all winder in their insulated house. Temps have stayed good and have been checking them regularly especially during the frosty times. Its their first hibernation so wondering when is best.

Any advice appreciated.

Darren

Outdoors, they will not wake until we have had several consecutive warm days. Here the temps have risen slightly, but it needs to be sustained longer with a gradual increase in temps. Double figures will see them stirring.
