I've never given my hermaines tortoise honeysuckle to eat. However there is some growing along the side of a road near to me. Would it be safe to pick and give him some? Leaves or flowers?
Thanks for all advise given.

Yes, flowers are fine, berries are toxic and leaves won't kill if eaten accidentally, but best avoided. Mine won't touch honeysuckle, even the flowers :(

The favourite of all mine is evening primrose! It's like giving a child chocolate lol. Even the babies walk round with little yellow mouths :)

Thanks everyone.
Tried Topsy with a honeysuckle flower today and he appeared to really enjoy it. Am pleased because he won't even eat pansy flowers. Will need to try and get evening primrose and grow it for him.
