Hello from me and my new Hermann, Etienne.

I'm a brand spankers tortoise owner so all advice is welcome.

I only got him last Friday but he seems to have settled in well and is eating fine, going to the toilet, a good bedtime routine of 8pm and loves doing circuits of his boathouse (yes an old boat shaped shelving unit)

He is the perfect child haha!

Hi, welcome to the forum. :)

Any questions you have just ask there's always someone around happy to help with them, the photos are lovely we love seeing pictures, just one thing is that some sort of hay you have in the sleeping area, if so I would remove it as they don't need any form of bedding, just topsoil to dig down into. :)

Agree, it's also a fire hazard if you are using lamps ;)
