Thought I would share this pic. 4 eggs laid today. The mother was acting gravid yesterday and somehow knew she was going to lay today. Total weight of 64g which is heavier than usual.

This female has produced fertile eggs before. I have decided to use a different incubator this year. It is very similar to a Hovabator. Simple but think most people have better results with this type of incubator.

Let us know how you get on with them and the new incubator. :)

Thought I would update this thread. 8 weeks ago I posted this picture of 4 eggs. A few days later a second picture of 3 more eggs.
I had bought a new style of incubator and was using it for the first time. Wasn't totally happy with my other one.
A more days later they started to chalk over so was hopeful of a good hatch rate.
Well............

Simultaneous hatching. Over the last couple of days 6 of the 7 have hatched and the last one I am sure is not long behind. Just loving this new incubator. It is not the best looking but holds temperature and humidity very well. Won't be using my other incubator any more (expensive as it was).
Took some pics.
